Maeve walked through the caf with the tray of food in her hands, a big smile on her face. She didn't see the chair in front of her.
It all happend very fast then.
She tumbled over the chair, landing on her back. The tray flew up into the air, and landed on her chest. The pasta all over her shirt. She lifted her head to look at herself in horror. Always her. She dropped her head back down and smacked against the floor."Ow...", she moaned. She didn't even want to get up. People laughed all around her and she just covered her face in embarassment.
Nothing was ever good to her. Now this, and even though it wasn't as bad in comparison, it was like a cherry on the very top of the pile of shit that was her life recenently. She just wanted to lay there and give up, which it must have looked like she was doing. She didn't want to see the people who were laughing at her or else she'd explode into a rage. And Maeve was working very hard at learning to contol that. So she just stayed put as they laughed. High school was an awful place. She wished she could just hurry up and graduate. Outfit here!

Hallie had just grabbed a seat and was prepared to eat the lunch she had prepared for herself, as she doesn't like to wait in line or pay money just to get something to eat. She then heard a commotion and turned her head to see a girl trip over a chair.
That must hurt! She thought and stared at the girl that was still laid on the floor.
She didn't laugh like everyone else did, she didn't think it was that funny. How is that funny? She thought feeling that the whole thing is just ridiculous. "Isn't she gonna get up?" She asked quietly to herself. She sighed and got up from her seat, she walked up to the girl as if no one was looking at her.
"Are you alright?" Hallie said in a somewhat cold and emotionless tone, her expression was stiff without anger or concern in it. Man, I did not wanted to come off as being emotionless! Hallie tilted her head as she looked down at the girl, then looked around at the crowd; she felt a bit of anger inside of her.
These idiots won't know how it feels like to be humiliated until they get a taste of it themselves, which will come soon enough! Karma does exist! She thought, she narrowed her eyes at a few people that were still snickering.
She was used to the fact that she seemed emotionless in the way she talks, walks, sits and even eats, her outer appearance always did no effort in showing her inner emotions. That didn't mean she's heartless though, she knew that she wasn't. She was far from being heartless, she just has trouble expressing it. It was always that way, she could have extreme emotions such as anger, happiness, or even despair on the inside, but it never shows on her face.
"Do you need a hand?" She asked manage to sound slightly more friendly, while she offered her a hand.
