[[ooc:: room for 2 more people here!]]
The possibility that he could be arrested for trespassing on school grounds had run through Aries's mind six or seven times. It was a Goodyear blimp hovering over the 'How-Can-You-Be-So-Stupid' stadium in his head. It rolled around and bounced off the walls, clashing the gears of his mind and causing that annoying sensation to form. It was one of the worst ones ever. That feeling, that nagging sensation that you're either going to get caught or karma would catch up to you later. While his mind was in a state of conundrum, his body continued to move. The door to the choir room had been left unlocked and he managed to slip in during the hallway shuffle.
Briiiiing.
Students made their way to their respective classrooms, all so busy that the Carmel High Junior gave thanks to whatever entity shaped the earth and universe. His Olympus E-PL2 was pulled out of the brown satchel strapped to him. He snapped a couple of quick shots of the red chairs on the risers, the black piano and the band's instruments. All in all it didn't seem like a very extraordinary room. Then again, Aries's wasn't one to be malicious enough to try and undermine the competition. That being said, he knew better than to go against what DG wanted. He could attempt to ignore the Vocal Adrenaline stooges but a direct order from their coach (and slaver, for that matter) was like a knife to the throat.
He liked his place in Carmel, even if the tables were somewhat inverted socially; plus he couldn't have his 3.8 average affected by a man's rather insane tactics. He was pretty tired of the glee club running around like they owned everything and everyone but it was better to stick to status quo this time rather than go against it. He had a couple of months and a year left: better to make the best of it.
Aries sat down at the piano bench glanced at the empty whiteboard at the front of the room, checking the first couple of pictures with his camera before running a hand along the keys. He remembered the video he saw a couple of weeks prior, with internet sensation Sam Tsui and a friend singing 'Just A Dream'.
His nimble fingers traveled along the keys and his voice rode the soft tune, almost a whisper against the sound of the keys.
"Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream..." Aries sang softly before letting his fingers stop and his voice die out.
A smile suddenly appeared on his face as he placed the camera on a timer and set it to take several frames. He set it at an angle, taking one picture to check it was alright and then began to play again. At least the people back in Carmel would get a kick out of watching one of their own toying around the New Directions choir room.
"So I travel back...down that road...When she come back? No one knows."

"No, mom, not that ki-- yes, but it's a bit different. Yes. The red bottle. No, red,"
Hayley spoke in an irritated tone as she walked down one of the hallways at McKinley with her cell phone pressed against her ear. Her heels clicked a constant beat on the floor as she traveled around the now empty-halled school; the bell had just rung to announce the end of lunch and beginning of fourth period. She'd driven to the nearest Starbucks at lunch, and returned to the school just as the bell was ringing. Then her mom had called, wondering what kind of shampoo Hayley wanted her to buy. And now, because of her mother's impertinence and utter lack of knowledge when it came to beauty products, Hayley was late for Math. "Okay, you know what? Just buy whatever you want. I'm late." She hissed, interrupting whatever rambling her mother had been doing. Without waiting for a reply, she slid her phone shut and returned it to the pocket of her skin-tight jeans. Her heels were clicking along at a much more rapid pace now, as she hurried off to her classroom. As she passed by the choir room, she heard the tinkling sound of the piano being played, and a soft male voice carrying some sort of tune. At first she thought nothing of this and carried on her way...until she remembered that there was no scheduled Glee or choir meeting at this time. She stopped in her tracks, tilted her head to the side, and swung around to walk back in the other direction. She slowed down as she neared the door, and peered inside. An unfamiliar guy was sitting at the piano, singing along to what she now recognized as Nelly's "Just a Dream". He had a fancy looking camera propped up next to him. Hayley peered at him, trying to figure out just who he was. She knew nearly everyone at McKinley, and found it odd that she couldn't put a name to this face. This could mean one of two things. Either he was new, or he didn't go to McKinley. Whichever was the case didn't really matter to Hayley; she was curious none the less. Which is why she decided to enter the room, trying to be as quiet as possible, but realizing it was rather difficult to be silent while wearing heels. Closing the door behind her so that it was only open a crack, she halted about seven feet from the door, placed a hand on her hip, and tilted her head slightly to the side. "You're not so bad," she commented with a smirk. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"I realized... it was only just a dream."
"You're not so bad,"
Motherf-
Aries looked at his watch. The light green colors flashed 12:56 PM. It had been barely ten minutes since his arrival at the school and he had already been caught. It was a wonder he hadn't been caught earlier jumping the fence near the football field. He could have entered through the front of the school and lied about being given a tour of the school for possible transfer. However, it wasn't like anyone at Carmel hadn't heard about Sue Sylvester. She was partly the reason their cheer-leading squad sucked (not counting Vocal Adrenaline's total domination over the status quo of the school). If Gooseby caught wind of a minor screw-up he wouldn't turn him in. However, if he heard Aries was claiming the coach put him up to it? The man wouldn't think twice about discrediting him.
Then everything would go down the toilet. Monkeynuts.
Aries turned around on the piano bench, his torso facing the source of the voice and his right leg splayed out on the bench. He smiled slightly.
"Thank you."
He studied her appearance for a moment and then acted on instinct. The junior's hands sought out the Olympus and soon enough his eye was looking at the new girl. He snapped a quick shot or two and then reviewed them. They were good. Black heels, matching cardigan covering a strapless purple dress. Cellphone in hand. This girl was either upper crust society or upper crust of McKinley society. Maybe both.
"You've got nice facial features. Not a lot of girls have these kinds of cheekbones." Aries said, more to himself than to her, as he studied the pictures. "The Marc Jacob black leather heels are a nice touch too."
Damn his mother's magazine and her constant left over work all over the house. The woman was constantly leaving storyboards for new articles for the magazines she worked for everywhere and it was starting to sink in.

Hayley remained in her pose as the boy turned around, a smirk still placed on her face. For just a few seconds, neither of them moved. Then the guy grabbed his camera, and before she even realized it the flash had gone off and he had snapped a couple of pictures. Of her.
Her mouth opened slightly in shock, but she quickly regained her composure. Standing up straight, she was about to shoot some sort of remark at him, but he beat her to it.
"You've got nice facial features. Not a lot of girls have these kinds of cheekbones. The Marc Jacob black leather heels are a nice touch too."
Once again, she found herself momentarily surprised, and at a loss for words. This was a rare occurrence for her; normally she had snappy remarks for everything someone said. But she'd also never been complimented like that before. Usually she heard simple things, things like "you're hot" or "you're stunning", but never like that. Never that... in depth; specific.
"Oh. Um... thanks,"
she replied a little hesitantly. Was this guy one of those freaky arts-y people? Those people who ran around either drawing or writing or taking pictures all the time? She appreciated the compliment, sure, but if it was coming from someone low in the social chain... it didn't matter much to her. Pursing her lips in thought, she realized she was staring at him quite scrutinizingly, and glanced away. There was another moment of silence, which Hayley decided to break. "Well, may as well get right to the obvious questions first.... who are you and what exactly are you doing?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Well that was interesting. This girl exhumed confidence and, in adolescent way, power. From the price of her clothes to the way she stood, to her questions and remarks; she was at the top of the pyramid, if not just within one of the higher tiers, of this school. Perhaps studying the people around his school had allowed Aries a keener eyes for these things. He tried not to frown as he turned back to the keys, playing a few lines of Michael Buble's 'Haven't Met You Yet'.
When she thanked him he merely nodded in response, continuing to play the piano while waiting for the inevitable question.
It was possible she was manipulative, or scheming, or just some curious girl with an apt ability at being admired. Was that an ability? And didn't that particular line of thought made him just as manipulative as he assumed she was? Aries was so lost in thought he hadn't noticed he was slightly humming the tune until the girl's next question interrupted his thoughts.
"Well, may as well get right to the obvious questions first.... who are you and what exactly are you doing?"
Lie. Lie. Lie. Liar liar pants on fire. No, don't lie. The boy knew if he lied he'd probably forget about it later and put his foot far into his mouth.
"My name is Aries."
Truth. Just turn it into a half-truth and you won't feel so guilty about it.
"Possible transfer student." The place was much better than Carmel High School so far.
"Junior."
